  Our car had broken down just outside Newcastle (had to be towed) causing us to be late arriving at Hotel, with only 1/2 hour for a quick change to attend a family wedding. Staff were fantastic making checkin QUICK, and booking a taxi to get us to the church on time!! Room was lovely, but unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy & relax. Decent size coffee mugs in addition to the normal small cups. 4. Room was a decent size and well decorated and well lit with both natural light and light fittings. 5. The balcony was excellent, private and with an ocean view. 6. Short distance from the beach.

  The staff at Quest Newcastle was incredibly helpful and very friendly. We felt well looked after from the moment we arrived and shared a few jokes. We had a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom apartment; both were very spacious, modern, clean and tidy with balcony. - Great place to stay if you're in Newcastle for a few days.   This place was fantastic. We will stay there again. It is always difficult travelling interstate with a dog! Even though the dog is cleaner than many humans and totally well-behaved, the motels that accept animals are usually dumps! Not the case with Jesmond! The most important thing is that the place is a Pet-friendly accommodation and this is a big bonus for travellers who do not know what to do with their dogs while they are away. I loved the place and I am going back there soon.
