  This was an amazing location - wonderful views of the river as it joins the sea. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Added bonus that they provide canoes for guests to use free of charge (with lifejackets etc). Also have DVDs and books you can borrow (free). Fantastic trip, wish we could have stayed longer - will definitely visit a... hva folk sier » gain. - Very well appointed, with a proper oven and cooktop, comfortable seating (even a recliner - heaven!), relaxing verandah and lovely views over the river mouth to the ocean. Convenient to a nice cafe for breakfast and good restaurants, but would be a nice kitchen to cook in. Plenty of space to stretch out in if you were staying for a while.

  This is the third time that we have stayed here as a stopover on a drive from Sydney to Northern Gold Coast. Riverview Lodge is in a very pretty, quiet setting. There are two restaurants nearby or a pleasant riverside walk takes you to the bistro at the White Albatross pub where seafood is a speciality. Rooms are nicely furnished, warm and comfort... hva folk sier » able. The cooked breakfast is an added bonus. I would thoroughly recommend Riverview Lodge to anyone wanting a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of NS - A great BnB in a fantastic location for all amenities in walking distance. After touring Australia using hotels it was nice to have the excellent standard found in most English country BnBs. The idea place for anybody stay, wi-fi, off road parking, help with cases to room an extremely recommended place to stay.
