Top marks to the staff, very courteous.

  This is such a gorgeous cosy house! Brilliant location ten mins from the south bank. Everyone that stayed there the same time as us were all really friendly. No late noise or traffic noise. The house is lovely and our room (10) was brill, very cute almost like staying at your nans house, lovely extras as well such as free Internet. We checked in very late at night but the managers were very thoughtful and made sure we had no trouble getting in. The location is excellent. We also used the free bikes and went on a very nice early morning bike ride. Very happy with our stay.

  The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

Could park the car on their driveway for $5 as the usual free roads round the corner were rammed with cars visiting the stadium for big matches. Well equipped kitchen and lots of fridge space.   Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good. - The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

I lived how it was right next to the station. The accomodation was very clean & cost was good for us& even though it was close toYHA & Backpackers acc, it was not Noisy. - Its an old 1877 cottage what you would expect.
