  After living in crowded, dirty and run down hostels for 4 months I decided to take a break between travelling and stay in my own room with bathroom for 2 nights. It was heavenly! Top marks to the staff, very courteous.

I lived how it was right next to the station.   The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

A bit far from Queen St Mall area (around 15 mins walk), but nearby Woolsworth. Going down to the Queen St area is okay (going downhill), but coming back to the apartment is quite a journey as we have to walk uphill.
