  We stayed in Hedge Cottage, aptly named because of the high hedge at the front and side, ensuring maximum privacy. This is a nicely renovated period home, divided into separate apartments. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the homely feel.   The staff was amazing friendly. We booked very late on the same night we were staying and ended up showing up after office hours. They not only let us in, but after realizing the room we had booked was not cleaned, upgraded us to a better accommodation for no extra charge.
