  Very close to city. Even closer to Botanical Gardens. Very cheap. Parking at the motel with extra security door from outside. Our room had a kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave. There was also access to a kitchen if you wanted to do more serious cooking. The room had a fan and a heater.   The rooms were huge and the staff were fantastic. It was equipped with a fridge, a toaster, cutlery, plates, cups and glasses as well as a mini bar. The location is handy to lots of restaurants as well as being across the road from Coles for groceries if you want to eat breakfast in your room. Its a relatively easy (and picturesque walk) to get to... hva folk sier » Salamanca and Hobart central. Ask at the reception desk if you need a map for the historical walk to the city. There is also a laundry (free to use) - From the time we arrived at the hotel /reception on the 15 April 2013 was met by the staff who was courteous and greeted us with a warm welcome , gave us information on the property and surrounds with wifi password and advised this was at no cost. The housekeeping was simply excellent with the room cleaned everyday and linen renewed as well. We also liked the proximity to Hobart CBD and the restaurants that were at a hop, skip and a jump , could not ask for any better Secluded car park and lov

  We stated in the motel. While an older style motel we got a very big room and very comfortable surrounds. Service on check in was excellent with advice about delivery of meals from external restaurant welcome as we didn't wish to go out. The place was good value for money. - Situated in the midway of thr slope, it js close to city center and yet won't be noisy. The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed staying in here. There was a funny cute fat cat accompanying us when we check out. The cat didn't let us walk ahead of it, so funny.
