Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and nothing appeared too much for them. The view from the tower is amazing and I recommend the journey up the stairs to see it. The artwork on the walls is not your standard motel stuff but is uniquely Tasmanian in tone,.

Tariff was fair'ish for basic room used just for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50 for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability. Overall a satisfactory one night stay. Close to cbd, Friendly and care staffs (We asked for a microwave oven and staff get one for us within mins), Timely room service, Clean room and bathing facility, Laundry facilities, comfortable bedding and pillows, pleasant healing facilities (healing fan, warmer). Stayed 1 night here - Overall, Good motel with all basic facilities inside the room. Surrounding of the motel is a quiet neighborhood area. I have a nice morning walk the next morning and lot's of beautiful houses in the area. Value For Money... Fantastic staff. Everything. free wifi. The view. I would have preferred poached eggs with runny yokes, but both times these were hard. A minor complaint. I also would have liked to have enjoyed a different brand of coffee in my room as the one provided is renowned as the cheapest and quite undrinkable. However, opting for tea, I could not complain about the number of bags provided or the sugar and milk: more than enough. No elevators, but if traveling light, as I was, it is only one set of stairs to the upper floors. Electric blanket was on single bed only. This was disappointing. These are a necessary option in Hobart from March to November. A later check out of 11 am is always a nice option if available. Bad Wi-Fi coverage, Clothes dryer takes 2 spins to fully dry ($3 each, total $6), Water temperature somewhat unstable, Old design of water tap (cold and hot water tap one each separated), slightly difficult to maintain suitable water temperature. IF the heater can be hotter ? Weather in Hobart is quite cold that night. Other than that, no complaints at all. no Airconditioning but it is at the budget end, the chairs were uncomfortable and no comfortable chair to relax in. Rooms were satisfactory but could be updated especially bathroom, shower etc. Location is good, but you need a car to get anywhere, as expected for a Motel. Wifi access only in public areas, some problems with hot water, quite low temperatures in the bathroom. Nothing to complain about at the price. lack of bowls or spoons etc for breakfast. no face washers. The cost of eatingout in Hobart was just too expensive. Wi - fi no reception in rooms or courtyard. nothing to dislike. a little cramped. Our heater did not work, however they quickly provided a fan heater. nothing comes to mind. The blinds in the room did not block out exterior lighting so the room stayed quite bright after lights out. Thought the dining room was a bit unwelcoming. A tablecloth and fresh coffee would have been nice. Rooms were not what I expected. A little old, but it was fine. Size of shower, comfort of bed, noisy pipes next door (room 39). NO dislikes. A bit more atmosphere for breakfast in the morning like lights, music and maybe some warmth. Difficult to exit from Boa Vista Street safely - too close to a blind corner. nieghbours were a bit noisy in the mornings. small stair case and parking was full. a little hard to find from the highway. Needs refurbishment. Nothing.
