Was very impressed by this so called hostel, was more like an apartment with all the room we had and the individual houses were really picturess. Staff even lent us hair straightners and a dryer. Would definitely go back again!

The staff were lovely, they had a great range of DVDs for free. The unit had everything you could possibly need and was very clean and comfortable. Tv had great cable channels. Right opposite a big shopping centre with Coles, reject shop, restaurants and fish and chips :o) loved it! -

Late check in no problem. Lovely staff who allowed us to use the carpark
for an extra night whilst we were on a boat. Would have stayed when we
came back off the boat but they were booked out due to it being Easter
weekend. Would definitely stay here again next time I come to Airlie. -

We had a private room and it was REALLY private - not like in other hostels where you share a paper wall with neighbours. The hostel looks a little like a motel but it is clean and peacfull and on the main street. Staff is really well informed and they book tours for you. -

Location to the town (Airlie Beach) was excellant and within an easy walk..10 min walk. Rooms were very big, had everything you need as the rooms are self contained. If you didn't want to cook, there are some very nice restaurants down stairs, coffee lounge and a bottle shop. It is not noisy and the setting is fantastic. -

Everything is close. The backpacker is more like a villa. Stayed in a double room, was very good and spacious. There's a calm bar inside. Left my bag there after check out without problem. -
