From the moment we arrived nothing was a problem for the staff they were friendly helpful. the rooms were spacious well thought out and clean.I would recommend the country comfort to any one wishing to stay in Coffs Harbour. the meals in there restaurant were five Star.. The buffet breakfast was better than than the hotels in sydney that we have stayed in. alle vurderinger » It was a pleasure to get a smile with service after the terrible experience all week from the other hotel we stayed in, my self and my partener were made welcome. Being 2 gay women you tend to get treated bad as the other hotel did. always like staying at the Country Comfort Coffs Harbour. Its easy to get to, the staff are friendly and although its on a main road its still very quiet. Will absolutely stay there again!. The reception staff were fantastic. If only there were more like her. This was our second stay in less than ten days. Will definitely stay again when in the area. The facilities were clean and well presented and the receptionist was warm and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay would happily recommend and would stay again. Efficiently friendly staff, nothing was a problem to them location and amenities top class. would stay again if passing through. we had an easy stay with bed, breakfast and dinner when we arrived in the restaurant. all for a reasonable cost. The cook needs to learn how to cook a steak properly.I ordered , rare, came out med, my partner ordered med/rare, came out well done and tough, couldn't eat it. Otherwise the rest was good. Buffet breakfast was poor quality. Not worth the money. Dry and little selection. It's all looking a bit old and tired. bed too soft. room 25 when upstairs room showered the pipes rattled continuously for 15 minutes unable to hear the tv or sleep when this occurred. Truck noise from the road at night. It was very noisy from trucks at night. Room should have some sort of noise barrier. phone wasnt working also a light beside bed,at first we didnt get the bookt room but after complaining we did.spa bath was dirty at arrivel. Noise and didn't sleep,people next door up at 2am we could hear their whole conversations the walls paper thin paper thin. no cutlery. I did not like the roach which walking around in the room. I did not like the smell which I guess must have been insect spray. The room is over due for a refit pink bathroom well worn cabinets testify to that. We shared our room with lots of cockroaches and other bugs. They were everywhere including in the refrigerator,sugar and even in the bathroom. Not a pleasant experience to have bugs on us. The rest. Couldn't have a proper shower - hot water was not working properly. The pipes made the loudest noise, other guest came out of their room. So ended up having the quickest, coldest shower - NOT IMPRESSED...... Our room was dull, dark and dismal and in need of a total revamp. Extremely noisy at night. No safe. No microwave. A GOOD clean might help. TV didnt work phone didnt work nonsmoking room smelt lke a pub of smokers totally disgusting stay.
