Fantastic value for money - I was a bit worried because it was at such a low rate...but the rooms are big! It is very comfortable.
Staff are helpful and 24 hrs. There are two pools, which was great for the kids. Restaurant, room service at night, and $8 cooked eggs for breakfast.

It is certainly not brand new, but it is clean -
1. and out of the CBD which enabled us to have a peace and quietness during the days and nights for rest and sleep. 2. Fast & efficient check in and check out. 3. linkage and calls for taxi service. 4. Easy access to Esplanade walkway for walks, exercise and relaxation. 5. Swimming pool for apartments easily accessible and free for my children, and not crowded. 6 Very convenient apartments for family my size.

facilities, nice pool (a lot of hotels in Cairns are very dated from the
1980s tourist boom I think). There was a mix-up when we were checking in
and we were quoted a much higher price than we booked, but for a
Harbourview room. We ended up getting a Harbour view room anyway but

Great location. Right beside the marina and very close to the city. Lots
of choices of nice restaurants just downstairs. Staff are extremely
helpful. Helped us with all the bookings of shuttle bus and site visits.
The studio hotel apartment was great value of money. The ocean view from
the balcony was fantastic. Can't wait to come back to Harbour Lights
for our next Cairns holiday!

It was our 2nd staying at the property and we enjoyed pretty much for twice accommodation there. It is a little bit different service style comparing with the big deluxe hotels, all the staffs here were all looking after us like family member, which made us feeling “ home away from home”. The location of the Bay Tree Hotel was perfect for our tansfer from the airport, the boat to Green Island for snorkelling and the Skytrain / Karunda rainforest expererience. The staff at the hotel desk were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast by the pool on a nice sunny morning was perfect and added to our holiday. The room was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed, the confortable bed and the well equipped bathroom with walk in shower was very acceptable.

Being able to walk everywhere railway, bus, marina, beach walks, resturants and shopping centres. Pick Up and Drop Off to all trips away. Close to Markets and entertainment. Over all excellent would not stay anywhere else. Thanks to a wonderful staff .

I was surprised at how modern the inside decor and furniture was. Very clean with everything a person would want for a long family stay. We unfortunately only stayed one night but we were very happy to have the convenience of been able to wash our clothes overnight! -

The staff were always very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to look after us. We were given a free upgrade to a double bathroom lux villa to accomodate our family of 6.

We stayed in a 4th floor apartment that two bedrooms. The main bedroom had its own en-suite with shower, spa and toilet. There was a second bathroom with shower & toilet next to the second bedroom.

I would recommend 181 to anyone, and I would stay there again in the future. -
181 Located just far enough away from the busy esplanade area too relax and enjoy the awesome weather and food Cairns has to offer. The apartments are large and spacious and met all our requirements. The owners were of great assistance with our daily activity's and knowledge of the area. We have no hesitation in returning.
