  As a Local of 33 years we like to treat one self to a bit of luxury. We have stayed here before an loved it. Rooms are very clean n have had a bit of a refurb an look great. Had in room dinning an the food was great, as was the service. Had a in room spa which was relaxing. Was on the second floor did not find road noise to bad. Very fast checkin ... hva folk sier » an checkout. Overall this is a well located an very nice hotel with big rooms. - Love the bed, not the usual two pushed together but a genuine kind size bed! Large balcony was nice, little touches of luxury such as spa bath, large shower, bath robes, mini bar etc. Staff booked our boat trip to the reef for us and they have lots of area knowledge and recommendations, very helpful and friendly!

  We stayed in a 4th floor apartment that two bedrooms. The main bedroom had its own en-suite with shower, spa and toilet. There was a second bathroom with shower & toilet next to the second bedroom. The apartment was spotless and very well "laid out". The view from the balcony was great. I guess the views from the 5th floor upwards would be bet... hva folk sier » ter. I would recommend 181 to anyone, and I would stay there again in the future. - 181 Located just far enough away from the busy esplanade area too relax and enjoy the awesome weather and food Cairns has to offer. The apartments are large and spacious and met all our requirements. The owners were of great assistance with our daily activity's and knowledge of the area. We have no hesitation in returning.
