  The hosts were very friendly and good natured. They offered to drive us to the club or down to the shops but we liked the (easy) stroll. On one occasion we borrowed their car to go for fish and chips at the Caltex which were great. The people of Balranald are some of the nicest laid back types you'll find anywhere - but remember to be polite and r... hva folk sier » espectful - what goes round comes round ! ............ I recommend staying at the Capri for a rest or if your taking the Outback Geo Tour to Lake Mung - Effusive and helpful front desk. despite not knowing where everything was he was very helpful even to the point of offering to drive us to a nearby restuarant so that we could have a drink or two and not have to worry about driving back. In room meals were country style generous both in terms of taste and portion size. Good TV selection options too.
