  We absolutely loved the location, the room was so comfortable, the bed was one of the best we have slept in in a while. The bathroom is beautiful and loved the spa bath, the pool area was awesome. New, modern looking from the outside and a great location near to everything in town. Reception staff member (sorry I didn't get her name) was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Likewise the staff on checkout were the same. Stayed on fifth floor with a great view over the river. The room was great and spa excellent.

  we loved this motel. it was modern and had good quality white fittings. tina and john were very nice people and the free brekky was a bonus. we would definitely go there again. thank you for a great stay. marg and denis - Helpful warm professional service.   From the time we entered the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The renovations really gave you the feeling of being back in the 1920's with plaques giving you little snippets of the history of some of the rooms. Tours were also available. The food was wonderful and in the original dining room of the school. The Hotel is steeped in history, and has been restored to reflect a bygone age. The food is superb, and there is an extensive beverage list. I'm looking forward to visiting again.
