  We really enjoyed our stay at Aabon apartments. The room was very clean and excellent value for our money. The staff were very friendly and helpful; they directed us to a Chinese restaurant next door where we enjoyed an excellent meal. Also, they gave us helpful advice in reaching our next destination. We were given an additional room with extra bathroom which was perfect.   Great value, and brilliant location. Certainly not the 6 star. Not 4 star. Not flash.. Budget accommodation.. but I was after somewhere to stay for 6 days while I attended a course. I needed a clean bed & room, a fridge, a microwave, running water... Got all that, plus hired a rental car for a lot less than others who were staying in motels wi... hva folk sier » thout transport or shops close by. And I had supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and the city next to me. And the hosts were genuinely friendly and happy - The staff were very friendly, the beautiful old Queenslander building was in a great spot to easily travel to the city centre, it's a nice stroll down to the Brisbane river to catch the river cat, the local bus stops right outside the front gate, local shopping and dinning was close also, there is a very neat little cafe' across the street, we only had coffee but the food looked amazing, we would stay here again...
