Location to the town (Airlie Beach) was excellant and within an easy walk..10 min walk. Rooms were very big, had everything you need as the rooms are self contained. If you didn't want to cook, there are some very nice restaurants down stairs, coffee lounge and a bottle shop. It is not noisy and the setting is fantastic. -

Late check in no problem. Lovely staff who allowed us to use the carpark
for an extra night whilst we were on a boat. Would have stayed when we
came back off the boat but they were booked out due to it being Easter
weekend. Would definitely stay here again next time I come to Airlie. -

Very friendly staff, especially Peter is very friendly and helped me a lot with booking my trips. Cheap bar on the terrace, pool, lawn, hammocks, pool table and big screen with DVDs. Every evening there is a quiz which is really nice to meet new people. Very big, clean kitchen. Bathroom was alright. Laundry with wahsing machines, dryers and iron.

This hostel was the best we have stayed in in Australia by far. All the staff are really genuinely friendly and engage with all the guests. It is small enough to know everyones face but big enough to allow you privacy to relax and read a book. It is just out of town( about 3 mins walk) which was perfect for us. Really chilled out and nice bar.
