I liked everything, they were very welcoming and as I was travelling alone I felt very relaxed there. The room was large and comfy and the dining room was most welcoming. I only had breakfast at the hotel but this was very nice. - Very friendly and service was excellent. All the facilities were excellent and the hotel was in a good location.

The breakfast was excellent (which could be pre-ordered or chosen in the morning). Chris and Janet could not have been more helpfull. The extra large towels were so soft. I would recommend this hotel to all as there were families and business people there and all seemed to be very happy chatting with each other.

The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

The location was superb with great views across Lyme Bay, especially from the dining room.
The dining room itself was bright and cheerful, and the quality of the full English breakfast excellent.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful and accommodated special requests without complaint.

Myself and my wife stayed at the Cimon for a short break in mid-October we travel all over the UK I must say this most defiantly the best guest house we have stayed in all the years we have been traveling the country from the second Adam opened the door we were made very welcomed he made you feel at home. We loved the stay at this hotel. It is located in a beautiful location. The restaurant had views of the bay/seafront. Our room was located on Belgrave rd, so we had wonderful views of the gardens in Abbey Park. The breakfast was wonderful and very comprehensive! My 4 yr old son wanted to buy the hotel (we were in Torquay viewing properties). -

stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all
