However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

Good location, close to Torquay centre had parking facilities at rear of hotel and parking at front of hotel which was very good as difficult to park in Torquay centre. The staff (dean and Richard) were fantastic and made me and my partner feel right at home straight away- and the room was literally as it was on the picture, it was lovely and clean and nicely decorated. Our room wasn't too big, but we had an en suite ( which is always nice) and a king size bed.
