  This was a nice friendly local hotel - although the building and surroundings itself was not all that attractive the plants outside were nice and there had been a lot of thought btaken over the internal decorations, such as some nice artwork. The staff were young but very nice. - I thought that the quoted room price was slightly high but the excel... wat mensen zeggen » lent value for money of the meals compensated and made the overall final cost acceptable.

  Stunning location, quiet, comfortable, spacious,quirky rooms, some with balconies and terraces. Warm welcome, friendly staff, excellent service. Basic pub fare, generous portions, very reasonable prices. Breakfast acceptable but basic (no fresh fruit, etc). The rooms were immaculately clean and very well presented. The views over the weir and the bridge were spectacular and very much worth the money, which in itself was very affordable.

  It was like spending a weekend in the country with good friends! The young staff could not do enough for us. The room was newly-refurbed with spanking new shower room and all spotlessly clean. Food was wonderful, especially Fiona's epic breakfasts! We will certainly return for more, probably in the summer. - Highly recommended. The food was excellent, the bed comfortable, the room immaculate, fantastic service. We are only sorry that our stay was for one night. We will definitely be returning.
