  I particularly liked the friendliness of the staff that dealt with us, as they were very welcoming and helpful, plus the overall cleanliness and quality of the hotel. It was also very quiet too consdiering that there were a lot of people staying there.Very good value for money! - Excellent value for money hotel.   The Reception Staff were very welcoming, and the services in the hotel were just as you would expect for a 4 star hotel. It was lovely sunny day when we arrived, and the main house, gardens and lake were stunning. We had a 'superior room' which had windows overlooking the garden, it was large and airy, complete with fridge, TV, large bathroom. The service was excellent. I had read mixed reviews prior to visiting and was a little anxious as some were rather harsh about the decor and restaurant service. We were very pleasantly surprised.
