On entering you could tell this couple had put alot of hard work and effort in to making peoples stay at there hotel one they would'nt forget t - From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by judy,on arrival we were made a pot of tea with biscuits which was appreciated after our 3 hour train journey from Lancashire,the rooms were absolutely spotless and so clean,couldn't fault anything,the breakfast was lovely too,fresh fruit,cereals,full English breakfast,freshly percolated coffee,me and my mum had gone for a 3 night stay,as we used to live in north yprks moors when I was little,it was lovely to visit pickering,and Whi

Location was five minutes walk from the beach and a twenty minute stroll from town. Room (superior) was lovely, cosy but spacious and with a nice view of the castle.   We booked this huest house as a last minute alternative after our botched honeymoon trip to Dalaman. We almost didn't want to leave. The hotel was very peaceful and serene. The location on a hilltop was perfect for good aerial sea view. The room was the cleanest I have ever stayed in any hotel/guest house - it was spotless.   We had a four night stay in 2 rooms at Rockside Hotel, one for me and my husband and one grandchild also one on the same floor for our daughter her partner and 2 more Grandchildren. The Hotel was clean and inviting. The room was small but more than adequate for what it is intended for.The full English breakfast was awesome, most places you tend to have a full English, the taste comes across as a generic, this however (as you read in the hotels description) is locally sourced and you can certainly taste the difference. The location is great with everything (South Beach/Town Centre) accessible within a 15 minute walk, newsagents/local shop/Cash point is

It was the little things that meant so much like them remembering what drinks we liked with our breakfast and that we prefered scrambled eggs instead of fried. They provided us with all day parking permits to park outside the hotel on the road due to all the spaces being taken at - Very welcoming upon arrival, due to being new to Scarborough we were provided with a map and highlighted all of the local attractions and routes to these. The bedroom was very cosy as well as clean and tidy with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was beautiful with plenty to eat and drink. Looking forward to my next stay and already recommending to family and friends.
