We stayed in the riverside Merchant Exchange apartment and the location was brilliant, just a few minutes walk to all the shops, restaurants & tourist attractions. The views across the city and river were lovely and the apartment was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We appreciated that parking, Wi-Fi and Sky HD were all included in the price. The apartment was absolutely spotless, everything you could think of was there, fluffy white towels, toiletries, tea/coffee/sugar & bottle of milk in fridge. Although we booked a studio apartment we were surprised that there was a fair amount of space in the apartment itself. Plenty of crockery etc., and some tea bags, water and soft drinks which were a bonus. Ideal if you don't like the idea of having huge breakfasts at a B & B or hotel. We would definitely book these apartments again. Very central to the Town.

The accommodation is centrally located and well presented. The
appartment we had (Shore) was up a couple of flights of stairs off an
inner courtyard. It was surprisingly spacious with a large hall, bedroom
and bathroom, a comfortable lounge and galley style kitchen. All
equipped in a contemporary style, so much for the money compared to a
hotel room. We had our large puppy with us and his crate bed could sit

A great location on Bootham Terrace. Only minutes from centre of York. The apartment contains all one would require for a stay. It was large enough for four persons without getting in each others way. Elevator to the apartment was a bonus and good security. The parking permit was well worth it as we left the car for three days as you will not need

I enjoyed the proximity to the centre of Harrogate. Nice little cool shops and bars on Cold Bath Road minutes round the corner. Very comfy beds and good linen. Great shower. A bathroom for each bedroom. Double glazed so quiet. Really nice kitchen. Clean, contemporary and thankfully no chintz. -

My original room booking was very nice and clean but I would have liked something a bit more special. I spoke to the duty manager and changed to a suite for my second night stay. Very attractive and quirky hotel with a great frontage for taking refreshments...even had a heated wooden gazebo! Great room - very spacious and comfortable. Even though there was music every evening it was not noisy. Fab menu and a buzzy atmosphere in the evening. Very attentive staff who were friendly and helpful. It was close to city centre, about 15 minutes walk. Cute little room with a comfy bed. Not a lot of frills, but didn't feel like anything I needed was really lacking. Had a cozy inn kind of feel to it. The staff was very nice and let us keep our car in the car park after we checked out so we could wander the city a bit. -

There was plenty of space in the two bedroom apartment and had everything that you needed during your stay, it was also very clean. It was an ideal location with it being in the city centre so everything was in walking distance shops, restaurants etc. -
