The Proprietors Robert & Jo. The fact they don't want anyone to be disappointed & supplied a particular cereal just for me even though I only asked if they stocked them. Remembering where we'd been and asking how our trips went each day. Friendliness, making us all feel at home and always pleasant with guests.
Also ideal location for town and nearby shops as well as the cliffs and Spa.

Tudor house is a refurbished railway station and is beatifully placed away from the hustle and bustle in the countryside. we were welcomed like old friends and shown to our beautifully furnished room complete with chandelier! The breakfast was gorgeous, fresh farm eggs and anything that you could have wished for including fresh figs. The honesty bar is a good idea and the lounge perfect for sitting in at the end of the day to relax.

Everything about my stay at Goldsborough Hall was what I had hoped for and beyond what I expected. The house is beautiful and set in lovely grounds which are well worth a walk around. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The staff and owners were friendly and curteous. Every moment I was there I felt welcome and also that my satisfaction was the priority. Goldsborough Hall provides the country manor stay that you think you can only dream of. I will definitely be returning.

the hotel is set in the idyllic surroundings of the dales.the staff are exceedingly friendly and efficient. the food was amazing, all the ingredients are locally sourced and carefully prepared into fantastic meals. the room was very clean,spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Staff very nice and friendly, english breakfast was lovely. Bedroom had everything we needed and bed very comfortable. Drive up to the Inn saw a tawny owl, badger, rabbits and sheep all over the place. Ten minutes away in Pickering had the best Indian Cuisine I have ever tasted.
