  Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout. There are shops and Farnborough centre nearby (walking distance away) which is handy. - The atmosphere is modern and chilled while maintaining a cosy edge. The room (which was an upgrade) was lovely, wonderfully comfortable and beautifully appointed, all in all a wonderful hotel in which to relax and unwind.   positief was eigenlijk alles, de ontvangst was perfect, niets was te veel de hotelkamer was keurig netjes inclusief de badkamer het personeel was grandioos alles wat je vroeg werd geregeld zelfs een lunch pakketje voor mijn kleinzoon voor onderweg, het ontbijt was ook al prima en het ontbrak ons aan niets veel lof voor het hotel en personeel - gast... wat mensen zeggen » vrijheid personeel, mooie omgeving

  Fantastic environment for a family trip to marwell zoo! We loved theattention to detail in the hotel and rooms even down to the animal printmugs and penguin biscuits!   Staff very helpful and friendly - allowed us to park in staff car park, when the bay parking was full. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice (toaster needs turning up though to get slightly darker toast); eggs were poached to perfection. Ideal location for Gunwhart Quays, historic shipyard and just a ten minute walk into Portsmouth town centre... wat mensen zeggen » - through the very pretty Victoria Park. We stayed in a recently refurbished room on the first floor - extremely high standard and finish, very quite - It was just ideal for our stay, mum n I hadn't been Portsmouth in a very long time, we thought the hotel was great conveniently located in the fact that was close to the places we wanted to go. The historic dockyards n the spinnaker was fabulous n magnificent and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hotel was lovely n spacious, friendly staff willing to help n made u feel very welcomed. Close to where we wanted to go close to the ammenties and parking was great didn't need to travel far in the car

  het is een geweldig leuk hotel, oorspronkelijk uit ca. 1500 (!) en zo ziet het er in eerste instantie ook uit van buiten: echt een sprookjesachtig decor in een heel mooie omgeving. Van binnen is alles keurig op orde, heel mooi de oude stijl daargelaten maar keurig netjes en schoon en gerenoveerd zodat het volledig voldoet aan de moderne, hoge, maat... wat mensen zeggen » staven. Ik ben echt heel enthousiast! - staff were friendly and helpful,the food in the restaurant was excellent,i had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel will definately stay there again - I will gladly recomend this hotel to my family and friends due to the courteous treatment we received during our short stay

  Het zwembad en relax faciliteiten. En omdat ik HHoners member ben kreeg een room upgrade - The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel... wat mensen zeggen » , and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities and steamroom.I had a very relax weekend in the hotel.

  At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast. The reception staff were also helpful and found us dressing gowns without question, well done great service all round. Food was excellent as was the service everywhere. The leisure facilities were very good and well maintained, just a shame the Sauna was out of order. We had a very pleasurable stay and would come back again.
