  The location of The Ship is good, in a lovely village. We were able to park right outside the door. Staff were welcoming and the room was lrge, very comfortable, with everything we needed and nice extras like bottled water and biscuits. The breakfast choice was excellent and we also had an evening meal which was very nice, with generous portions. ... wat mensen zeggen » - Needed to stay in Gatehouse of Fleet for business and found the ship-inn was ideal for this. The room was very clean and comfortable with Wi-Fi which allowed me to work in room. The food was great and I was made to feel very welcome by the staff. All in all a great stayed which I would recommend to anyone.

  I booked the hotel for myself and my staff as we where working from home, the Service from all staff members was excellent they seen to our every need, fantastic choice at breakfast cooked fresh the way we liked it every morning, Evening meals again delicious, I would highly recomend this accommodation to everyone - It was good value for Money. Considering they said it would be noisy the night we stayed our three year old slept like a log. We didn't hear a thing.

  Steve and Cath gave me such a warm welcome, and were happy to help wherever needed. Including making me a packed breakfast when I had to leave very early. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with good size rooms and lovely facilities. The location was perfect, literally 10 minutes walk from the outlet village, 5 minutes to Anvil hall for wedding c... wat mensen zeggen » eremonies and only 2 minutes from Gretna Hall. Could not have picked a better place, and great value for money. I will be back!! - Nice little place to get our head down after a long tiring day wedding planning. Perfect for what we needed and would definitely recommend for our wedding guests in June 2014. Breakfast was superb. Lovely couple who own the place were nice enough to chat with us and give advice on the area.
