  Everything, the staff were very friendly and very well mannered from the cleaners to the manager, it was very clean, the food fantastic, the rooms wonderful, just brilliant in every way. We got married at Gretna Green and I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be treated extra special, we upgraded to the rose suite although quite abit... wat mensen zeggen » more money it was worth. - The atmosphere, the friendly, professional staff and the outstanding food. We have visited many hotels and the quality, presentation and service in the restaurant was 5*+!

  We received a very friendly and helpful welcome, fairly late on a Saturday evening, when the hotel (and town) was very busy. Throughout our brief stay the staff were excellent and the breakfast (the only meal we took) was very good.
