  Everything was 100% perfect for my stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful to my needs and requirements, the room was beautiful and very well equipped and the hotel in general was kept to an extremely high standard. I paid for four star, and I received four star. I would definitely stay there again and probably will sooner rather than later... wat mensen zeggen » . - The staff were friendly and helpful. The contemporary decor with the old style of the building worked extremely well and the room and facilities were excellent. We will definatley be staying again and will recommend the hotel to friends.

  The owner, Chris, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful with whatever I needed, e.g. fixing immediately a window a bit hard to close, doing whatever he could to prepare an espresso (he did not have any in the house that morning so he went to get some from his own house). It only takes few minutes to the river and the center of the town. We hope to exprience the other rooms next time. My six years old daughter likes the hotel best during the 12 days' travel in UK.

Room large & comfortable. Was concerned about the potential of traffic noise as it it right on a busy sectionof the A1, but hotel is se... wat mensen zeggen » t back from the road, well soundproofed & I was not disturbed by any traffic noise. - The rooms where well equiped, warm and tastefully decorated. Free WiFi is a bonus with excellent reception within the room and the pub. The pub is a very relaxing retreat after a day on the road with friendly staff, excellent food and atmosphere........all in all excellent value for money.
