the front room is so big and so filled w/light. it looks on to a row of shops and is so convenient by day. then everything closes down and it is quiet and lovely by night.
all the rooms were big and airy w/great windows or sky lights that open.
the apartment couldn't be more conveniently located to shops, groceries, market, quick bike ride or walk

I absolutely loved this place. It was like my home from home. I have stayed in a lot of different places but have to say this has to be the best place I have stayed in and had everything I needed.
I had my own little lodge in the lovely quiet village of Fen Drayton with separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/lounge. Great facilities- microwave and

Everything ! The attention to detail is wonderful, from the comprehensive array of beverages and breakfast food provided to the excellent shower and sumptuous towels. Although only 5 minutes from the busy A14, Thorn House is in a quiet location and this combined with the very comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. Owner Nicky was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of local attractions.

SIMPLY SUPERB! Welcoming on arrival, clean and comfortable accommodation. Ample parking. Less than five minutes away from Cambridge city and colleges. Awesome! Totally a great place to stay - my daughter and I really enjoyed staying there while I waw on business in Cambridge. John and Mark were very helpful and there are a number of good local restaurants and markets. I plan to stay here again next year! Also recommend a visit to Nat'l Trust - Wimpole Estate, just 5 miles away - fabulous!
