  I liked the whole experience of staying at the Piersland. We received a warm welcome and were shown to the most beautiful room which had a wonderful bathroom almost as big as the room. The welcome in the dining room was equally as good and the food and wine were excellent. As we had to leave next morning to catch an early ferry, the staff went out... wat mensen zeggen » of their way to make sure that we had a super breakfast. We will certainly be going back and making sure our friends know about it. - I was at a wedding at a nearby hotel and did not have the opportunity to sample all of the Piersland's facilities. However I did find the staff and bar service first class. The room was the lodge/cottage to the left. My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and layout. Room service breakfast was more than sufficient.

  Best hotel breakfast I've had in a long while. Includes vegetarian option, or haddock, smoked salmon etc. Great food in the restaurant - exceeded expectations; we ended up eating there both nights. Liked décor and ambience in bar and restaurant with sea views, the sort of place you would linger in. They put thought and effort in to what they do. - Views over Arran were spectactular! We had room with sea view which was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is in lovely situation fairly near Largs. We were a family party of 13 and each and every one of us had a lovely Dinner in the evening. A stroll along the beach in the afternoon, then a swim in the Spa - and Dinner in the Evening - just perfect.

House has been extremely well upgraded, beautifully warm, luxurious fittings in both bedrooms and public rooms. Staff recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner.   Fantastic Value for money. The rooms were huge and so was the bed. All modern fittings with speakers in bathrooms. Breakfast was exellent with a wide choice and all the staff seemed to genuinly enjoy their jobs which rubbed off on the atmosphere. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was excellent. This is a gem of a place close to Troon with well trained staff.

  The christmas atmosphere was brilliant so many thanks to all of the staff.
