  The hotel design and decorations are great, especially the cafe on g Floor. Information provided in hotel's leaflet is very useful for us. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. I am so in love with the breakfast choices. They are all great E.G. egg benedict, egg florentine, pancake, omelette etc. which are totally different from other hotels tha... wat mensen zeggen » t offer only English/continental breakfast. The taste is really good. Location is also great. It's less than 10 minutes walk to bus / train station. - The Artist Residence is a cosy and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, full of details and nice decorated (each room by a different artist). Breakfast is excellent and staff is really helpful and efficient. Its location - in a quiet street - is excellent for those using public transports, as the hotel is close to the railway and bus station. Very good value for money.

  The setting was spectacular, in one of the most interesting and historic houses in Cornwall, the historic home of Charles Valentine Le Grice, a direct decendent of a follower of William the Conquerer. The rooms are truly romantic and spacious, with lovely views of the grounds and garden. Extremely comfortable and grand bedroom, magnificant en - Fantastic country house with real history about it. The staff were friendly and the son was kind enough to even give us a tour of some of the rooms. Good breakfast and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The long driveway through the extensive grounds was great, but the real highlight was wandering through the well kept gardens in the evening / morning.
