  A very friendly, comfortable and relaxing house with plenty of period detail. Room very clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds with luxury linens and bedding.Breakfast in a airy room with plenty of choice to eat with ambient music in the background that was never overbearing. The house is next to the library and in the same road as the Penlee museum and gardens and the sub-tropical gardens. Easy walk down to the sea - Lovely townhouse, beautifully decorated faithful to its period style. Such comfortable beds, luxury bedlinens and everything required for comfort in the room. The residents' sitting room is so comfortable and relaxing. Excellent breakfast. We stayed 2 nights in this lovely house, wish we'd had longer. A short walk into town on a quiet street. Highly recommended.

My wife an I travelled to Penzance from the Midlands for a large wedding, The owners were fantastic and brought fresh milk to the room every day, a lovely touch. Arriving early afternoon to drop our luggage off we had a chat with the very charming and friendly owner (male), he suggested we may want to get the afternoon ferry on that day (it had been delayed so was leaving at 2.30) as we would get to Scilly earlier. We managed to do that, and we were so moved by the hosts generosity ( he lost a booking because of it!). We will definately recommend and

  Right from the happy welcome by Lynda to the pleasant spacious room, comfortable bed and good shower, we had a really enjoyable 3 days at Torwood House. An easy stroll along the beachfront brought us to many good pubs and restaurants too. Great walks in Cornwall are all nearby using either the local buses or your own car. I must mention Steve's breakfasts too - try the Hog's Pudding....great!!! - Truly and lovely B&B. Located on a quiet street only a few minutes walk from Penzance with good pubs and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and big enough to last us through lunch. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and decorated adorably. We even got little gifts of local wine! Highly recommended!

  We were met by the host in the carpark, she insisted on carrying our bags (we didn't allow her). She was very welcoming, warm and cheerful...I don't think we've ever been greeted more warmly in our years of travel. The flat is very nicely decorated with a living room / TV room and kitchen with table downstairs. Upstairs is a very comfortable bedro... wat mensen zeggen » om and bathroom (tub w/shower). The kitchen was well equipped for self catering and our host had kindly included a container of eggs, a package of won - Gorgeous comfy little hideaway. Tiggy is lovely and made us feel so welcome. Superb fish and chips from Lewis's ..actually did us for two meals.. bacon and eggs and bread provided for breakfast, and orange juice and muesli and fresh ground coffee...just excellent! Lovely walks along the coastal path to Mousehole and enough small shops to mooch around. Will be back!

  Its a great little hotel just tucked away from the main road with amazing sea views and a great level of service from all staff - My wife and I felt pampered and enjoyed the relaxation at the hotel We also liked the views of the town and the bay.

The accommodation was comfortable and the owne - What a fantastic gastro pub, after travelling around the south west of the UK as part of our travels, the Coldstreamer was one of the best. The food from the restaurant was superb. The pub itself is in a great location just minutes from the centre of Penzance in a small village called Gulval - very quiet and parking right outside. Much better than being in the busy city centre.
