We were in room 6, on the ground floor, opposite the breakfast room. Rob greeted us and made us feel welcome - he also gave a good recommendation for dinner, the Dolphin Tavern, which we were pleased with.   The owners were so friendly and helpful. Steve gave us maps and recommendations. The 2 room family suite was perfect for us travelling with 3 boys, I loved the table in the room to have breakfast, the fridge is stocked with everything you need and more, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. Can't say enough. - Great staff, very friendly. Lot's of food for breakfast - the fridge was staffed when we arrived. Not set on rooms - so if they have space, they will let you choose your room - love it! Free WiFi - this is very important when traveling. Overall - very nice cottage and not small, as some hotels in England.

  Right from the happy welcome by Lynda to the pleasant spacious room, comfortable bed and good shower, we had a really enjoyable 3 days at Torwood House. An easy stroll along the beachfront brought us to many good pubs and restaurants too. Great walks in Cornwall are all nearby using either the local buses or your own car. I must mention Steve's breakfasts too - try the Hog's Pudding....great!!! - Truly and lovely B&B. Located on a quiet street only a few minutes walk from Penzance with good pubs and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and big enough to last us through lunch. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and decorated adorably. We even got little gifts of local wine! Highly recommended!

My wife an I travelled to Penzance from the Midlands for a large wedding, The owners were fantastic and brought fresh milk to the room every day, a lovely touch. Our ensuite and bedroom had recently been fully redecorated and was very clean and brightly lit too.The bed was comfy and ou... wat mensen zeggen » r quality of stay was outstanding,The full English breakfast we sampled was high quality and If I scored the Penmorvah out of 10 I'd score it a 12 .We - We arrived as a family, having booked to stay the night before catching the ios ferry the next morning. Arriving early afternoon to drop our luggage off we had a chat with the very charming and friendly owner (male), he suggested we may want to get the afternoon ferry on that day (it had been delayed so was leaving at 2.30) as we would get to Scilly earlier. We managed to do that, and we were so moved by the hosts generosity ( he lost a booking because of it!). We will definately recommend and

  Hospitality was lovely - Theo very friendly and welcoming. She booked taxis for us and really made every effort to make sure we were happy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and exactly what we wanted - even at a time we specified. Fruit, tea, coffee, cereal available all day and night. The location to local park and restaurants was very convenient. Our stay was like staying with a friend Theo felt like family. We had two rooms which were very clean and comfortable.
