  End of season when we arrived, so very quiet. We used the Hotel as a base for evening and sleeping while we traveled around. Our family room was very clean and comfortable with a large en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was great and Kim looked after us very well - Thank you Dower House - The hotel is clean and very comfortable and the staff friendly a... wat mensen zeggen » nd very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is first class, both breakfast and dinner. It is quiet and relaxing yet close enough to get around the area.

  Liked both Lyme and the hotel so much that I stayed an extra night. Great location, in general and for arriving by bius. Felt very comfortable as a solo woman guest; ate in bar 2 nights. Good breakfast, pleasant staff; pleasant decor; tasteful Christmas decorations added. Overall impression was efficent yet warm and friendly place.Usually prefer ... wat mensen zeggen » smaller B&B when travelling alone, for both comfort and price, but would stay here again. - The gorgeous breakfast and the seating worked well within the dining room. We also loved the bar food the previous night, and beer. The room was splendid ( superior) with good views and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
