  This is the best hotel we have ever stayed, indeed! I warmly recommend it for anyone! One can feel that the owners put their heart into it and sincerely do their best to make a very comfortable and pleasant stay for their guests.They are personally very nice people and have helped us a lot with our questions, finding proper bus connections and so ... wat mensen zeggen » on. Upon our arrival, they have kindly offered us tea and cake, and that was for free! This lovely hotel is situated in a picturesque place within a w - I liked everything about this Hotel- absolutely excellent. Extremely comfortable bed with top grade linen. Beautiful grounds with lovely swimming pool. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Overall the staff couldn't do enough for us- the afternoon tea on arrival was a pleasurable bonus, and the receptionist was a lovely lady who made us feel so welcome. I will definitely return if I am down that way again.

  End of season when we arrived, so very quiet. We used the Hotel as a base for evening and sleeping while we traveled around. Our family room was very clean and comfortable with a large en-suite bathroom. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is first class, both breakfast and dinner. It is quiet and relaxing yet close enough to get around the area.

  Liked both Lyme and the hotel so much that I stayed an extra night. Great location, in general and for arriving by bius. Felt very comfortable as a solo woman guest; ate in bar 2 nights. Good breakfast, pleasant staff; pleasant decor; tasteful Christmas decorations added.   We were suprised and thrilled to be given a suite with a sea view rather than the room with a garden view that we had booked. The staff were very pleasant. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Comfortable and cosy. The breakfast basket was a nice touch and of considerably better quality than at other hotels we have stayed in. Secure parking, whilst a short walk, was convenient and a welcome alternative to a pub - Our bedroom, dining/lounge room and kitchen all had large windows with great views over the harbour, the foreshore and down the Jurassic Coast. Amazing! I loved the décor of the bedroom, and in fact we had everything we needed. Hand delivered fresh croissants or the like to your room each morning was lovely. The restaurant served great meals also.
