  First impressions count, and they are good. Paul, the landlord, greeted me on arrival. He's friendly and just has that knack of getting people. Our room was quite spacious, for Blackpool B&B, and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and it was all clean. Paul is always genuinely cheerful and always available. I'm not sure when he sleeps. No need to eat again until dinn - We were travelling with our 2 young boys of 5 and 8 and were very pleased with the family room as it had an adjoining room for the boys so we all had lots of space. We loved the spa bath! Tram stop right outside the hotel made travelling up and down the promenade very easy! Excellent value for money - we enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal - we will come back again if we can find the same deal of £105 per night half-board for a family room.   Fantastic welcome, hotel owners really nice and friendly people. Went out of their way with advice of local parking and restaurants. Hotel rooms immaculate and really good breakfast! Excellent location for Winter Gardens where we were attending a show. - leslie and bob are really friendly, and its realli well situated close to everything!

  Location was great 5 mins if that away from city centre! Staff amazing and friendly couldn't help any more than they did!!! Great view of the town defo at night!! Pubs bars and club walking distance but in our case cheap in a taxi because we had heels on lol!!   Het personeel was wel vriendelijk. - friendly staff, fabulous food nothing was too much trouble. i can truly say that the accomodation and the entertainment made for a first class stay. i will definitely return. they are advertising special weekends for 2009 and we are interested in the "rocky horror" weekend in january. i think they do a murder my... wat mensen zeggen » stery weekend as well. its so nice to see something different. - perfect place for a getaway, nice polite staff clean surroundings and the option available for a quiet relaxing night or a party time in the bar highly recommend this hotel for parties of all sorts, next time I visit I will be sure to book one of their premium rooms fabulous.......

  The owners couldn't be more welcoming when we arrived, went out their way to help and accomodate us any way they could . Breakfast was usually served at 9 am but on the sunday they had our breakfast ready at 6.30 am as we had a competition to get to, many thanks as you and your hospitality made our trip to blackpool a great success .

  From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room. The room was very clean,it was at the rear of the building. Breakfast was good and plenty. when i had to leave they allowed me to leave my bags there for the d... wat mensen zeggen » ay as my train was in the evening.I will stay there again in the near future.No complaints at all. - we stayed for one night only to attend a concert at winter gardens the location was fab really close the hotel was really clean and presentable the staff were lovely and offered to do our breakfast one hour early as we all had to get to work the manager said we are very flexible they certainly were ten out of ten and a truly delicous quality english breakfast was served would not hesitate to stay again thank u all at the carlton the lumbs

Warm and friendly owners, good sized comfortable and cosily decorated room with tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities plenty of supplies and biccies, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean bathroom great shower and large fluffy white towels and with a decent selection of toiletries. Had an en suite which was a good size. Comfortable bed. Big tv and our own keys to come and go as we wanted. Great location and the breakfast was nice and plenty of it. Best part is the owners didn't bother you and left you to it but was still about if needed. AAA***
