  Het ontbijt was erg goed. - This was our second visit to the Balmoral and we enjoyed it as much as the first time round.The room was pleasant, warm and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. One thing we particularly liked was the ample supplies in the room to make tea and coffee, unlike most other hotels... wat mensen zeggen » we've been to that only provide a minimum. Car parking was never a problem. - The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic for dinner and for Breakfast. Room was exceptionally clean and there were plenty of towels and coffee making facilities. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family. Great location and value

  We received a very friendly and helpful welcome, fairly late on a Saturday evening, when the hotel (and town) was very busy. Throughout our brief stay the staff were excellent and the breakfast (the only meal we took) was very good.   I was travelling with my mother and stopped over on our way north.We received a very warm welcome from Sally and were shown to lovely rooms with fantastic views over the garden and hills. Sally recommended a local pub for dinner which was excellent . The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a beautiful cooked breakfast. Fantastic breakfast and plenty to choose from the menu. Proprietors were more than helpful and were there to greet you when I turned up.   Everywhere was so clean, cosy and comfortable. We felt valued by the friendly owners.The en-suite bathroom was large and had separate bath and shower facilities. Towels were beautifully soft. The hospitality tray was the best I have ever seen. Also the provision of a separate lounge for guests was a bonus. Breakfast was to die for-beautifully cook... wat mensen zeggen » ed and varied in its provision. Definitely come again. - Comfortable room with an excellent seperate sitting area. Facilities to make a variety of hot drinks with no limit imposed by limiting the amount of milk available. Good hearty breakfast. Near to A64(M) so able to break a long journey without having to go to far and not as soulless as a Travel Lodge.

  Rockhill was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was also an obvious attention to detail that made a big difference compared to some places I have stayed.
