  The rooms were lovely, bespoke & the bed linen was great. Great large well appointed bathrooms too. I appreciated the fact that loads of towels and toiletries were provided although we were both single occupancy in double rooms, often you dont get very much as a single traveller!! The restaurant/bar area of the hotel was lovely, had a warm &... wat mensen zeggen » amp; friendly feel but also stylish and a bit different from all the big chains! Fabulous evening menu too. The staff members were friendly enough on - We got a really good discount through letsbookhotel.com which made this a real treat for our first valentines day together. We were spoilt with free champers on arrival & a rose with dinner!! The room wasn't huge, but was lovely, the bed was sooooo comfortable!! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and accommodating! The kitchen and food was also amazing.   We enjoyed the spa and also found the attention to detail and service by the staff to be of a very high quality. We were pleased that the rate offered meant that we were able to visit a hotel we had long wanted to visit. - Staff very friendly without being overpowering, food excellent, spa facilities very good.   The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with lots of lovely home-made produce such as the warm breakfast muffins and jams. I loved having the option of fresh fruit, yogurt and honey for breakfast too. We both followed this with a great Full English with excellent sausage... wat mensen zeggen » s and bacon - full of taste and locally sourced. - Very friendly owners, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. As a veggie it is a luxury to have soya milk provided in the room and options for breakfast (which was excellent, as was the full English) We only stayed one night so didn't have time to use the spa facilities but would definately return for a longer stay and make use then.
