I stayed in the 'Garden Room', which was more like a huge suite a sofa, small 'walk-in closet' and big double bed. It also had a lovely view. My stay was perfect, the owners were lovely and the breakfast was great. The whole house is lovely decorated with lots of attention to detail. I enjoyed the unexpected luxury during my business trip. -

Hotel in an excellent location just a 2 min walk into Dundee City Centre. - As 2 mums away for the company we work for we thourghly enjoyed the surroundings, the hotel was easy to find, the view from our room was fantastic, the way the staff helped us out with a couple of queries, the lesiure activites, our evening meal and the lovely gin and tonic we had!!!!! just everything was great would highly recommend to others

My first impression before meeting the owners was "gorgeous grounds and magnificent, historic home". Once I met the Clarks, it kept getting better. They could not have been more welcoming. Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

He made our short stay run very smoothly.The room was very clean and well set out and cleaned each morning. Breakfast was very good qualty with more than enough to eat and a great choice. A warm and inviting hotel situated on a bus line to take you to Dundee with 10 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean and had ensuite privileges.
