I stayed in the 'Garden Room', which was more like a huge suite a sofa, small 'walk-in closet' and big double bed. It also had a lovely view. My stay was perfect, the owners were lovely and the breakfast was great. The whole house is lovely decorated with lots of attention to detail. I enjoyed the unexpected luxury during my business trip. -

The hotel is easy to find and the position is good. Nice room - Staff very helpful allowed us to check-in earlier than stated. We could leave our luggage safe for a few hours after we checked-out. My first impression before meeting the owners was "gorgeous grounds and magnificent, historic home". Once I met the Clarks, it kept getting better. They could not have been more welcoming. Their luxuriously decorated accomodations, fabulous food and truly helpful service are among the best I have encountered in more than 20 years of staying in B & B's. Top notch in every way!

Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

We were met on arrival by James who was an exceptionally nice young man. He made our short stay run very smoothly.The room was very clean and well set out and cleaned each morning. A warm and inviting hotel situated on a bus line to take you to Dundee with 10 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean and had ensuite privileges. Staff were pleasant and accomodating when we showed up a few hours prior to the check in time. The hotel has a lounge/bar area, a sunroom, patio and a restaurant. All meals were fabulous. -

Liked the little touches - nice bathrobes,slippers provided, coffee/tea tray. Staff in the bar were lovely. Lovely breakfast, served a bit earlier for us as we had a fishing trip booked and needed to leave 10-15mis after breakfast should start.

La camera era bellissima così come il bagno. La colazione ottima - Due doppie dall'aspetto molto pulito e luminoso. Personale cordiale, buona la colazione. Posizione: vicino a S. Andrews, ma non semplicissimo da ritrovare (specie la notte!): se avete un navigatore fidatevi più del post-code che dell'indirizzo!
