I just spent 3 nights in this hostel, during my first trip to Bangkok. It is an easy 10 min walk to koa san road, and there are some small restaurants just 2 min from the hostel. The staff is really friendly and speaks good English. It is an easy walk to pier 13, where you can take the boat to what pho en the royal palace. There is no night noise to complain about either. Beautiful old house full of pretty thai antiques, loved the traditional atmosphere and quirky feeling... very quiet street, the only noise was some 'opera' singer practicing in a house next door :)) the guesthouse is very quiet and aswell, which is wonderful in a city like this. Because of problems with my arrival at Bangkok I got to the Baan Tepa very late around midnight. The manager waited just for me and stayed up till I arrived, helped with a quick check-in so that I was able to rest. The next day I had a fresh delicious breakfast and the manager explained where I can go and what to do for a first visit in Bangkok. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again if I came a second time to Bangkok.

Location was awesome. It was a 5 minute walk to an awesome night life. But far enough away where you didn't get the noise. Also the staff was super friendly. They got us a tuk tuk multiple times and negotiated the price. We were never able to get the same price on our own. Also breakfast was included and delicious.

The location is very good, central and quiet because not directly on the street.
The value for the price is quite good (big room, though not the luxury one, but with air-con, en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed). So if you plan to visit the city, that can be a good option. -

Room was a good size, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of cheap and tasty local restaurants nearby for breakfast or lunch. Close to San Saep canal pier for cheap and fast way to centre of Bangkok. No kettle in room but there was a hot water boiler in reception that we were able to use. -

from the moment i stepped my foot inside suneta hostel, it was an amazing experience, friendly staff, helpful as well, met alot of people during my 3 night stay, loved it! would totally go back over and over again, even if i'm traveling with friends, 2 min walk from kao san road, near to all the sightseeing areas (grand palace, and alot of temples), would recommend it to everyone (noone should miss that hostel)
