  De Talak Hostel was a great place to stay at! It is a simple but nice and clean hostel, the room (we had the 4 bed family room w/ private bathroom) had one double bed and two single beds, a desk and two lockers (with separate keys). During our stay they also installed a TV in the room. A simple but nice and clean hostel with good wifi, good common... wat mensen zeggen » areas and of course, free ice cream! The staff was really great and helped us a lot during our stay. In the reception area they also have several lis - De Talak Hostel is a very Clean place, Staff is polite, Speak fluent English, Sheets are clean, Bathroom is in the room, Toilet paper, Shampoo and Shower Gel provided, Free tea, Coffee, Ice-cream in the kitchen, WiFi in the room. Free Internet Computers provided in the first floor. One of the cheapest hostels in town. Above all full credit goes to the owner lady. It takes only 5 minute to go to the Metro way on foot. Highly recommended to all individuals and groups.   As this is my sixth stay at this hotel in last two months that should say everything ! Everything is as I want it and this will continue to be my preferred residence in Bangkok - Excellent, spacious well eqipped rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. I feel like I am at home.   great place as a base, perfect for exploring Bangkok, close to skytrain station. staff friendly and efficient. we stayed four nights at beginning of our 3 week break in thailand and then needed our last night to be Bangkok so stayed at Admiral suites again - excellent location, excellent facilities , very good money for value highly recommended

  The facilites are fantastic in the main building, however if you have a room in the corner wing you need to be aware that there is no gym or swimming pool - although it only takes 5 minutes to get from one to the other this can be very inconvinient as it involves going outside... not great if you're in your boardies. After speaking to the manager (by this time it was 1am so credit to him for calling me back) I was upgraded - I like the design and architecture of the hotel. The rooms are stylish equipped. The swimming-pool area is very nice. But it's in another building. You have to go out, turn left and walk 10 meters along the street and enter the other building and go up to the 9th floor. The breakfast is good for the price.

  Nice hotel with well-sized rooms (both 2BR appartment and 1BR appartment), very comfortable beds and excellent in-room facilities. Location is little bit far from Sukhumvit (for walking), but still OK. There is also a free tuk-tuk service to Emporium, provided by the hotel, but I didn't use it. Breakfast is standard for 4/5-star hotel. Large choic... wat mensen zeggen » e, high quality, not imressive but much more than just satisfying. P.S. excellent water pressure in douche, which is often an issue in Bangkok hotels. - We love the beds, definitely the most comfortable I have slept in. The hotel is a bit out of the way from main shopping and restaurants, however its only a short tuk tuk away. We would recommend that you walk away from town about a 5 minute walk away is Flow house surfing (look for the Maverick Sports Bar) It is great fun and food there is great too. All in all our stay there was great and would definitely go back there on our next visit to Bangkok
