  The Barken Viking is very interesting being a converted old ship, it is right on the riverside and extremely close to central station which makes it quick and easy to get to if travelling in on bus from Landvetter Airport. It is also very quiet which is great for being so close to the city center. The breakfast was great. It was a large and nice old ship turned hotel. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Internet is free and you can hook up any amount of devices, just change the email you register with for each one of them. Location is pretty good, next to the opera house and the ship museum, and at least a good 20 minutes walk from some of the nice streets in the center.

  Central but quiet location very neat sanitary, very good breakfeast (eco friendly attitude) - The hostel was pretty quiet even it was booked out; I can totally recommend the double rooms. The showers are always available, clean and there is also enough paper, which is not normal in a hostel. The bed was compfy and the whole building is kind of cle... wat mensen zeggen » an. The hostel is really close to an amazing park with public bike rentals and a supermarket is around the corner. I'm not a big hosteltraveller, but I totally loved it. - Very new and clean. Staff is incredibly friendly. They let us use the computer behind reception to print a boarding pass. Location is decent as it is 2min walking distance to bus stop that runs direct to train station in 10-15 min ride. Kitchen is perfect, shared showers were clean and wonderful pressure and temp.

  I stayed one night in this hostel and booked a bed in a dorm - but due to a cancellation of another person I got an upgrade to an 2-bed-room and was already excited to stay there one night before I arrived. This hostel is very clean and they have good opportunities to cook by yourself. The rooms are big enough and it has a flat-tv which was really... wat mensen zeggen » nice (because I travelled alone). The wifi worked also very well. The best thing was the nice and friendly staff.
