  Rooms were indeed over-furnished. Everything looked so good, so comfy and well-designed. Was so good for our young couple experience. Breakfast was excellent. Haven't had that good bacon for sometime. - Location Lovely swimming pool and bunglows. Nice stuff in bunglows like boss music system and bbq place etc.

  Hotel Villa Borgen is in a great location and my room, opening onto a court yard was really nice and very comfortable. The toiletries supplied (shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) were good ones and the bathroom also had a cabinet for storage. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions. I love the intimacy. I had a lovely single room off a courtyard. It was easy to go in and out but staff were always discretely on hand to answer any queries.

  We liked the roomy apartment with private outdoor patio. The setting was quiet and pretty with large lawn stretching down to a path along the beach. It was within walking, biking or jogging distance from the old town for an active person, which was great.   We had a very comfortable stay here with our 1-year-old son. The family room in the annex was perfect for us -- it's really 2 adjoining rooms, so we could put our son to bed early then sit up with the lights on in the room next door. The bathroom was shared with only 2 other rooms and we never had to wait. Our room was spacious and light with view... wat mensen zeggen » s out to the harbour (over a carpark but still). The town centre is a very easy walk and there's a great kid-friendly park and library just around the - The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful * The hotel is decorated in a modern way (a lot of white), but it is still very cosy * The room we were in (number 16) was very spacious and even had a little terrace for sitting outside * The breakfast is very healthy (no baked or fried stuff and home-made bread) and delicious * This is an eco-friendly hotel: the staff does not clean the room or change your towels unless you ask for it specifically. I love that!

  This is the 2nd time I have stayed here with family members. The location is excellent if you are arriving by ferry. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We enjoyed our visit and would return on a future trip. - Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff and perfect location
