  Erg vriendelijke ontvangst, ondanks dat we als verzopen katten binnenkwamen was het geen probleem fietsen en tassen mee naar binnen te nemen. Tevens prima ligging en makkelijk te vinden. - Onze fietsen kwamen een paar dagen tot een week eerder aan. zij werden door het personeel keurig opgeslagen. Prima!

  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

  The Hospederia was an old Hospital for Pilgrams and a monastery. It has been fixed up with rooms. The staff were helpful. The rooms clean as well as the bathhrooms. The breakfasts were routine buffet style and more than adequate. I had one meal ( lunch) in the dining room. They serve a Menu del Dia. Once again budget friendly , not a gourmet meal ... wat mensen zeggen » however service fast and friendly. It is close to the cathedral and having completed the Camino de Compestela it was a good place to unwind without ha - I liked everything! It's right beside the Cathedral. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are basic but very clean. Breakfast was lovely, all staff were very helpful. The city is Santiago is beautiful, it's definitely a place I will go back to and would recommend it to everyone. There's such a good atmosphere there, everyone is relaxed and friendly.

Dinner buffet was excellent, a terrific value, especially after 32 days hiking on el camino de santiago encountering almost universally awful and overpriced food.   Room is fair size with closet, minifridge, desk, luggage rack. Bathroom a bit cramped. On a quiet street very near the city bus stop at Praza Galicia (bus #5 goes to the central bus terminal). Easy walk to lots of eating places and cathedral. Hotel has a lift. Gentleman at the front desk speaks fluent English but the other 2 ladies only limited En... wat mensen zeggen » glish. - The Hostel was easy to find and in a great location close to all the restuarants and bars, and a short walk to the Cathedral.The room, though small, was very clean and new and had everything needed. Strong wifi....a/c, comfortable bed and great shower. I would definitely stay there again.

  we stayed for 1 night only at the hesperia peregrino in santiago before moving on to a coruna . we could not have chosen a nicer hotel. the staff were very helpful and most friendly. we did not book breakfast but had coffee and toast around the pool area the price was good and the surroundings were beautiful we were sorry we had booked only one ... wat mensen zeggen » night at this hotel . we shall return - Excellent location (close to the city centre but far enough to be veryquiet); Clean and confortable room; Fantastic buffet breakfast for asmall additional cost
