  We loved our stay at this Hotel Palace! Perfect, professional and very polite and helping staff. We had a wonderful room with a balcony and good view (standard). It was perfect, spotlessly clean, light, not noisy. They cleaned the room several times a day. It is very traditional, aristocratic classic hotel, with classic light interior at the same time with all the modern - The Hotel is beautiful,but there were very few large bath towels, no small wash clothes and no extra pillows. Also we checked in at 10:00 am and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at 5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We were 3 couples and were exhausted. They said they needed another signature before they could put the bags in the rooms. It was ridiculous since we

There is some great walking in the area and plenty or other things to see; Barcelona is only around 30mins away and we also took the opportunity to visit the excellent beach of Platja de Castell, Palamós which was just over an hour awa - Beautiful restored catalan home from 1688.   Absolutely beautiful Spanish family mansion nicely converted to great B&B! We were invited to stay for dinner as well and had the best meal of the whole the trip! Hostess is an awesome chef! Host lit a fire for us since it was raining when we arrived and we loved playing games fireside!
