  Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean, tidy and bed comfy. Great location, short walk to magic fountain area and Espanya shopping centre and metro station. Hotel doesn't provide breakfast, but advised us of a great cafe/bakery for breakfast called Audreys just a short walk away. - We stayed in the 1-bedroom apartment which was clean and spa... wat mensen zeggen » cious. The kitchen was well-equipped and there is also a washing machine available for use. Wifi worked well. Location was convenient - only a few mins walk to the metro station, and 10 mins to Sants Barcelona train station.

  Hostal Baler is considered one of the budget friendly hostals. Although the room was small, but for me as solo person was good. The location of the hostal is excellent , its almost 2 mins away from the magnificent Plaza Espagana. You have alot of facilities in the hostal area (shops , cafes, etc..). The room was very clean and was cleaned every da - This is a family-owned place that is very well maintained and has a congenial staff and atmosphere.   The apartment-sharing style feeling rather than being in a soul-less hotel. Pablo was extremely welcoming and devoted to provide a great stay: breakfast was served for my early rising, he gave me tips on great tapas place, etc. Really a great host. My room was good size and well decorated. There is a little balcony where you can enjoy reading a bo... wat mensen zeggen » ok or taking breakfast as I did. It's on the 5th floor so it's quite nice. The location is perfect on a residential street with bakeries and groceries - It's very nice appartment, almost in the center of the city, 10 minutes walking from Plaza de Espana and 15 minutes - from Plaza de Catalunya. Location is great. And Paulo, the host, was very nice and helpful. Room was quite comfortable and clean. But there are 5 rooms and you have to keep quiet to not disturb your neighbors . Minimal breakfast is included .
