  We arrived late (7:00pm) and the place was locked up and we were not expected. The host eventually answered his phone and said that he was not expecting anybody as nobody had advised him of the booking. He gave us the honeymoon suite to make up for the misunderstanding and we were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and everything worked out perfe... wat mensen zeggen » ctly and exceeded our best imaginations. - Great location close to the beach and restaurants. Wonderful view of the sea from the open deck. Very amiable hosts. Good braai facilities including wood, charcoal and firelighters. Vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant next door; 60 rands in value PP which is enough for a full english, an extra round of toast, coffee and enough left over for a tip for the friendly waiter.

  As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering.   The B&B is in the middle of the village in an old house just across the church and within walking distance to most of the restaurants. If you love a modern room you will not feel comfortable. We felt very welcomed, although we only booked two hours prior to our arrival. The host gave us some tips for restaurants nearby. - This lovely old home with high pressed ceilings and a lovey view of the mountains and church was right in the middle of town. We could walk everywhere and the advice on places to visit from our very friendly hosts was great. The breakfast was also very good and set us up for a day of touring.

  The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront. There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

  The apartment was lovely and quite large. We didn't use the pool since we weren't there that long. (An overnight stay.) The rooms were large and beautiful. The shower was the best I had since leaving the States! Leon, the owner, let us in after arriving a full hour later than allowed. The staff there, servers, cook and office assistant, There - We arrived in Cape Town and had no where to stay and 51 on Forrest Drive where efficient and made our booking quickly and timeously and we were never disturbed when we were there and the food was delicious!

The breakfast was cooked to order and was very fresh and high quality, like cage-free eggs. The ambiance and decor was exceptional. The location was not too far from most of the sights of interest to tourists. - Perfect stay for my recent business trip. Secure and easy access to come and go as I please and a perfect location for a early morning jog before a delicious breakfast. Friendly, helpful owners, great room and lots of attention to detail.   After a long drive from Gansbaii, we were delighted to arrive in this beautiful seaside house! It was late and dark and the owner was so welcoming and nice to us. She gave us tips on where to get a good meal and told us about the area and things to do. The accomodation was lovely. We had a huge kitchen, living room and bedroom with ensuite. We had every facility in th - Absolutely amazing! The best place I have ever stayed in, it was really huge, nice, clean, well equipped (we had 3 rooms, kitchen and living room to ourselves for 2 persons!), parking right in front of the house and the owner is the sweetest person you can meet, who will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy there! Breakfast not promised in the price, but despite that we even had some yoghurt, fruit and cereals there, really perfect!

They gradet us up to a whole cottage just because there was sufficient space and the weather was bad. It was definetly one of our best stays in South Africa. A really great place to spend an evening with a bottle of wine on the terrace overlooking a stunning little valley. Self catering facilities. Satellite TV with choice of channels.
