  I appreciate the fact that the hostel is located outside the city center in a nice residential area next to a lake and up on a hill overlooking Oslo. It is a quite place. The 9 bedroom dorm is spacious enough. It is clean and staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is included in the price. - Reception staff very helpful and welcoming.   I have trouble getting around and the Oslo Apartments were very central. Every single t Bane line stops at Toyen, and the T-bane station was a very short walk away. Also, very good market at Toyen, and the hotel room offered kitchen facilities. Finally the price was affordable and allowed me to make this trip. We had a problem with the first room ... wat mensen zeggen » and the stafff changed our rooms immediately. The location and value for cost makes this a hotel I already plan to return to. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very good size and the kitchenette was well stocked. The beds were like clouds! It was also very nice to have heated floors in the bathroom. The parking garage was nice because they closed the garage door nightly and you had to go through the lobby to access the garage. I felt safe leaving the rental car in there. I highly recommend this hotel!

  They were kind to us, though I got wrong booking date. Nice breakfast I always complain about the lack of hot water in hotel but this one has very hot shower haha - The hotel is located in a quiet area and close to Frogner Garden. The staff were helpful and made necessary arrangemets for us to check in outside normal hours.

  Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was amazing with the hostel had great facilities. Breakfast was good. The view over Oslo was wonderful and the hostel was easy to get to from the city.   - a VERY impressive reception area - friendly and helpful staff - excellent location: 2 metro stops from Central Station, 3 minutes' walk from the metro - 2 supermarkets very close - beautiful building - nice apartment-style rooms with common kitchen and lovely sitting-room - It was very nice :) I stayed in Paris and Stockholm couple of days ago ... wat mensen zeggen » and it was way more expensive and in one case it was even worst place. The staff were more than helpful and the location is very good. Just 3 metro stops from city centre! I recommend it :)

  In an expensive city like OSLO this is the best place to stay. The cleanliness of the hostel was by far the best i have seen. Even better than the 5 star hotels. Clean linen and clean facilities. The breakfast is included which is great and offers a stomach full of food which you would pay an excruciating price anywhere else in Oslo. Location is also great a walk from all the major tourist attractions and - Great location, is close to everything (train and bus station too). The room (very clean) was a bit small, however the bathroom was big enough. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and plentiful. There is a huge hall downstairs where drinking tea and making friends. I recommend this hostel! Ps: very close to the hostel there's a good restaurant, Nilsen Spiseri, and with the card of the hostal, at the dinner, you have a 10% discount.

  Clean, quiet, comfy beds, good wifi. The kitchen utensils are not for rental, you just leave a deposit and they give you the money back. I recommend bringing own sheets and towels to save money, because they give you blankets anyway. Despite what I read in some of these comments, there are soap dispensers in the shower and sink. If you are on a budget in Oslo, it's the best option - I was in single room apartment several weeks. Whole hostel building is new and clean. Bathroom is nice, with floor heating, kitchenette is useful for preparing quick meals and hot drinks, free WiFi works fine. Staff was nice and friendly. Don't miss city view from the roof of hostel.
