  we waren er precies in het juiste weekend. Tijdens de uitreiking van de nobelprijs voor de vrede. in het hotel sliepen alle bekende mensen die erbij aanwezig waren waaronder diana ross. helemaal geweldig - in kamer 675 stond er een waterkoker met theezakjes en oploskoffie. heel prettig om te hebben op je kamer. in kamer 630 hadden we dat niet en to... wat mensen zeggen » en viel dat natuurlijk een beetje tegen :-(

  Stayed for a weekend, booked a standard double room for one person via letsbookhotel.com. Nice price, 1800 nok for two nights including breakfast. Finding the hotel is easy, it's next to Stortinget in the centre of Oslo. The hotel has rooms with windows opening out to the streets as well as rooms with windows opening only to the restaurant/breakfa... wat mensen zeggen » st area in the middle of the hotel. I contacted the hotel in advance of my arrival, asking for a room with a window towards the street. They responded - Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

  The location of the hotel was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast set up and choice was very good. - Very central location - near to all the main tourist sites and thetourist information office, and opposite the train station.

  Location was totally fantastic for anyone having to catch an early morning train/bus like me - it's right beside the rail and bus station. Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, efficient. The room was one of the best designed I have ever seen in a hotel, and had everything one could possibly need. Norway is - Central location close to the station for early departure via airport express train. Within walking distance of pedestrian street and restaurants. Public transport to port area right outside, as well as using the metro. Staff helpful in printing boarding passes. Included breakfast at the Egon restaurant across from the hotel was an adventure in navigation. Once there food presented had variety for all.

If one likes to wald to the center is also very convenient and very easy to reach the shops, restaurants and caffe's of the town. We even had gluden free bread brought to us at the table every morning. The soundpoof rooms - Really nice to find some well-appointed rooms with wooden floors and very good bedding! We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant which really surprised us as hotel cuisine can be so-so.
