On arrival it was raining so we were sitting in the car waiting for it to pass over. They came out with umbrellas so we didn't get wet. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. I am fussy about cleanliness but the place was spotless. We had an ocean view apartment and it was fabulous. Very quiet (although we did have a unit away from the road). Very clean
and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty
grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other. But
mostly I just love that they found my tablet charger before I even knew
I had lost it, and posted it on really quickly.

The Swish Chalet is a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay.
We had a spacious room with sofa and kitchenette and a balcony (with
flowers, just like a Swiss Chalet!) It doesn't have a lake view
but does have outside space and the lake is just across the road with
plenty of eateries within a few minutes walk. They were happy for us

nights and loved it. -
The whole experience was fantastic, I was there for a few days with my work, I wanted a small motel that was clean, quiet, in a good location at a reasonable price.
I feel that I got that and much more, very friendly owners who went the extra mile, under cover parking, super fast wi-fi which was spot on and I took the continental breakfast option for only $10 extra, well worth it, well done, see you next time!

The best accomodation of our whole NZ trip. Location was perfect,across the road from the water,views of the bay, seemed very safe, flat walking distance to shops,restuarants & across the road from the wharf where you get on the ferry to go over to Russell or all the boat tours,jet boat & charters. fabulous and a wonderful launch pad to explore the Bay of Islands from.
The facilities were lovely, clean and well maintained. A big thank you
