  We recently stayed 3 nights at the Palace B+B and loved every minute of it! I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.

  Perfecte ligging, aardige verhuurder. - The room was a good size, nicely furnished and with a working tv. The bathroom was really nice too, very clean and had a hair dryer. We loved our stay here as it was right next to the flower markets so it was easy to find our way there (once we already knew where it was) and it wasn't too loud at night. - ... wat mensen zeggen » Extremely good location in walking distance to everything you want to see in Amsterdam. Spanish tapas, bars/pubs and flower market just downstairs. Two toilets and shower is shared between rooms, however for the short city trip it was a perfect choice.

  Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience, me and my wife have been in many places of the world, but this experience was the best by far. The hotel has an excellent location, right on the picturesque Prinsengracht canal surrounded by boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Te owner Martin was fantastic, and very helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms, were very spacious, elegant - The location and views from the suite could not be bettered. The suite itself was large,spotless,very comfortable,warm and with excellent ensuite facilities. The manager,Thomas,was incredibly welcoming,helpful and spoke perfect English. He also prepared an excellent breakfast which was eaten overlooking the canal. We would highly recommend and without doubt would return. Thank you Thomas for all your help. Robert and Joyce.

It was quiet except for the church bells ringing nearby but given all the possible noise somewhere else, I'll take the church bells anytime! Also serves as an alarm clock for 8am.
